TomTom Map Share is a unique technology that enables you to add to, update and personalize your maps instantly. It also lets you share and benefit from other users’ changes - daily, automatically and easily via TomTom HOME. TomTom Map Share technology means TomTom drivers can always have the most up-to-date maps at their fingertips.
Every quarter, TomTom releases the latest maps from the world’s leading map suppliers. This ensures you get the most up-to-date and reliable map whenever you buy a TomTom device or a new map. But because we live in such a dynamic world, the pace of road network changes may even be ahead of the latest map release. That’s why TomTom now enables its users to add changes to their maps.
With the revolutionary Map Share technology, TomTom users can make instant corrections to their own map and receive corrections from the entire TomTom Map Share community for at least 12 months – all for free. And by regularly replacing your map with the latest release, you’ll be able to continue to keep your map up to date with your own improvements and with help from the TomTom community.
