  Restoring a backup
 

Answer

 

To restore a previous a backup, follow these instructions:

    You cannot restore a backup unless you have first created a backup of your device.


1. Connect your device to your computer and run TomTom HOME.

2. Inside HOME click on Back up and restore > Restore my device.


    When you restore a backup, the content of your TomTom device is first deleted and then the backup is copied to your TomTom device.
You will lose any items you have added to your TomTom device or any changes you have made on your TomTom device since you made the backup.


3. Click on Restore now.

4. TomTom will notify you when the restore has finished. Once complete, click Done.

5. Use Device > Disconnect Device before you remove your TomTom device from the USB cable/dock.
